Parties, Buyouts & the Truck

We feed groups three ways: the back room, the whole building on a Monday, or the truck comes to you. Same beef, same tallow, same griddle. Nothing gets fancier because you booked it.

The back room

Forty seated, sixty standing, its own door onto Delmar Alley, and a speaker you control. Party packages start at $26 a head: two burgers per person off a short list, fries, rings, slaw, and a soda. Add the fryer spread for $6 more and add a beer package for $14.

Weeknights carry no minimum. Friday and Saturday the room runs a $900 food and beverage minimum, which is roughly thirty people eating and drinking normally.

Full buyouts

Monday is our dark day, so a Monday buyout gets the whole building: the bar, the back room, the patio, and the counter. Eighty seated, a hundred and twenty standing. Pricing depends on the season and how long you want us there. Tell us the date and the headcount and we will send a written quote in two business days.

We do about twenty of these a year. Most of them are birthdays, work parties, and one dart league banquet that has happened every January since 2019. We are fine with a band. We are not fine with a fog machine near the fryer.

The truck

The truck is a 1994 step van with two flat-tops and a fryer, and it goes out in three counties. Minimum is 75 people and a flat travel fee inside twenty-five miles of Redfern. Beyond that we quote it.

The truck menu is short on purpose: the Standard, the Black Bean Smash, hot honey chicken, fries, and slaw. That is it. A shorter menu off a truck means the burger comes out the same as it does here, and that is the only reason to hire us.
